Our Story

Dr. Raj Jaju founded Gentle Dental Care in 1983 while based in Mumbai, India. It was established with the core intention of minimizing dental phobia, an issue widely prevalent among patients. GDC was then opened in Abu Dhabi in 2001 to further deliver state-of-the-art dental treatment with a gentle approach. Following 35 years of experience and 14 years of a successful private practice on Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Jaju decided it was time to make her vision come true; to create a practice synthesizing the comprehensive needs of her patients.

Our Philosophy and Vision

We are dedicated to the highest level of patient care and have designed the center to make patients feel comfortable the moment they step in our door. We believe in treating every single patient like we would want to be treated.

We designed this center to be a one-stop shop for all things dental, all while providing the utmost comfort and convenience. Enjoy a massage chair and some delicious coffee while you sit with your family member during their treatment. You can even get your teeth whitened in half an hour with our state-of-the-art technology. If you need a CT Scan to better plan implant treatment, we are equipped with a top-of-the-line Dental CT machine right here in our clinic.

We also promote dental education and innovation. That is why we have a 20 seat Conference Room on our top floor. We invite leading speakers and clinicians in the field for lectures and training. We provide frequent training sessions for our staff to implement the latest concepts in dentistry.

Our Mission

Our goal at GDC is to ensure that your visits to the dentist are stress free.

It is our pleasure to provide our patients with incredible value by walking you through every step in your treatment plan and considering various options before you make a decision. Only with YOUR informed consent, progress will further.

We are proud of our ability to significantly exceed our patient's expectations. It is the primary reason so many dentists recommend us to their patients, and similarly our patients to their friends and families.
